Employee Expectations
Are you aware of your employees' expectations of you? Who
are your clients? Because they are your top priority, you are more likely to
know them. However, if you are unaware of or do not pay attention to your
employees' expectations, you may be doomed to fail. Your business will suffer
if your staff are unsatisfied and have low morale. Your staff are your most
valuable assets, and they are the ones who propel your company forward. It is
also your obligation to understand and meet their expectations

What are the Employees Expectations?
Every Employees should expect to maintain to maintain following behaviors in the workplace.

Display
a Positive and Respectful Attitude.
·
Work
with honesty and Integrity.
·
Represent
the organization in a responsible manner.
·
Perform
their jobs to a reasonable, acceptable standard.
·
Maintain
good attendance.
·
Conduct
themselves in a professional manner, even when off duty.
·
Follow
set policies and procedures when dealing with problems or issues.
Employees
should expect certain behaviors and opportunities from their employers, just as
employees should expect certain behaviors and opportunities from their
employers. We previously stated that the following expectations are not only
necessary for employees to have, but also for their managers to have.
·
Proper
training, Support and Leadership.
·
Timely
and accurate payment of wages.
·
Safe
and healthy working environment.
·
Full
disclosure and explanation of the job responsibilities, company policies and
procedures.
·
Regular
feedback on performance from supervisors or managers.
Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs
According to the McLeod (2007)
there are five basic needs motivated employees and often showed as
hierarchical levels within a pyramid.

How do you Communicate and manage expectation?
After you've
established clear expectations, you can take a few proactive measures to
communicate and manage them. Most importantly, employee expectations should be
communicated in as clear and detailed a manner as feasible. Everyone must be on
the same page about what is expected of them in order for you to manage
expectations

Conclusion
Employee Expectation more vital in organization it directly impact to achieving the company goals and basic needs will motivate employees it creates the path meet the organizational goals and Objectives.

DeleteNowadays, it's difficult for companies to manage their employees since their expectations are usually high, and they want benefits based on their current circumstances, such as health and well-being. HR and all other departments must realize this and appropriate measures must be taken to keep employees satisfied & it will reduce attrition.
